RECEIVING THE BAPTISM CERTIFICATE

On the next convenient Sunday or at the following Family Service I will present you with the baptism certificate. This is an important document which should be kept in a safe place along with your child’s birth certificate and passport and other such documents.

The Church Family will have already met you when you came for the act of thanksgiving and blessing at a previous Family Service, and so now we will rejoice with you at the baptism of your child. As I give you the certificate I will say a prayer for you and your family, and we will all give you a round of applause! You will then have the opportunity to continue to get to know members of the Church Family better over coffee / tea which is served after the service.
